I am a software engineer at Google working on YouTube Homepage Recommendations. I work on machine learning and recommender systems, with an emphasis on building backend services. This semester, I am teaching CS 104 full time. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. My hobbies include soccer, basketball, chess, and travel :)

Bonjour mes amis. I am Ms. Terry Miller, a native of Huntsville, AL and a twice alum from Alabama A&M University in Computer Science. I have worked at the university since 2003 in various offices and enjoy working with students. I love action packed-thriller type movies with espionage, intelligence and trade secrets. In my spare time, I cook gourmet dishes and travel with friends and family. One of the things on my bucket list it to travel to all 7 continents in the world. I have a 29 year old son and a 3 year old granddaughter, who is the boss of our family.

Hi! I’m a software engineer at Google working on Wear OS in the San Francisco office. I currently work on a Software Development Kit for Android apps. In the past, I’ve worked on web applications both before and after joining Google.
My hobbies include movies, riding an electric unicycle, and traveling when I can.
Learning is one of my favorite things so I find it super rewarding when I can help others learn something new. I’m looking forward to meeting students this semester!

Hi! I’m a Privacy Engineer on the Android Security and Privacy team. I come from a non-traditional tech background and have had a variety of jobs throughout my career, including teaching high school and cybersecurity to young adults. Prior to Google, I worked as a security consultant for six years, where my day-to-day involved finding security vulnerabilities in networks, web applications, and mobile applications.
I now work in the field of privacy, which is a bit different from security but equally interesting! Don’t hesitate to ask if you have questions about privacy or security!
In my spare time, I love to surf and play guitar.

I’m a software engineer in Google Research, and I have worked in Shopping, Cloud, and in SRE, as well doing a PM (product manager) rotation and a few weeks in a datacenter. I’ve worked at Google for nearly 14 years, and have been a computer geek for 55 years (so I have seen a lot). And I have been a teacher for over 45 years because I love learning and sharing what I have learned! So you can ask me anything, because I still remember what is like to not know yet (working at Google means I always have something new to learn.)
My hobbies are photography, cycling, singing and inventing.
